Research about craters on Mars’ surface and celebrate with scholars!
The 2022 GeoAI Challenge focus on the Mars crater detection and the celebration of the successful landing of the Mars Perseverance rover on the red planet on ferry 12, 2021. The aim of the initiative is to expand the research community with students and early career scholars from fields like geospatial sciences, computer science, Earth and space sciences, data science and relevant fields. This is a collaboration among researchers from multiple disciplines, organizations and sectors, including ASU, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Oak Ridge National Lab, Esri, Google and American Geographical Society.
